Objective:To discuss the influence of Traditional Chinese Medicine services on the efficiency of basic health institutions.Method:Changsha,Loudi and Xiangxi autonomous prefecture were randomly selected as classified sample cities,from where 2 or 3 sample counties were chosen randomly.Then 5 township health centers were included for further statistical collection;according to the possession Chinese Medicine Practitioners License,sampled health centers were divided into licensed and non-licensed health institutions;database was established by EXCEL,and statistical analysis was accomplished via DEAP2.1 and SPSS21.0.Result:According to statistical analysis,there were differences in out-patient emergency person-time and average annual growth rate in expense between licensed and non-licensed health centers;out-patient emergency person-time in licensed health centers was higher than that of non-licensed ones;average annual growth rate in out-patient emergency expense in licensed health centers was lower than that of non-licensed ones;via DEA method,the average comprehensive efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency in licensed health centers were all higher than that of the non-licensed ones.Conclusion:Traditional Chinese Medicine services not only significantly reduced the financial burden in medical expenses,but also improved the efficacy economic operation in health centers.
