Traditional d-f coordination polymers were widely applied in optical imaging(OI),magnetic reasonance imaging(MRI)and photodynamic therapy(PDT)thanks to their excelent optical and magnetic properties.But the applications in vivo were limited because that the major absorbance of d-f coordination polymers was located in UV-Vis region.Au nanocage was one kind of outstanding photothermal transducer with obvious absorbance in near-infrared region and remarkable performance in photoacoustic imaging(PAI)and photothermal therapy(PTT).In this paper,an integrated strategy was introduced to hybridize Ir-Dy coordination polymers with Au nanocage(AuNC@CPs).The main points of this paper were summarized as follows:(1)Ag nanocubes were synthesized via a polyol method which was reported in recent years.Then,Au nanocages were synthesized via a galvanic replacement reaction in which Ag nanocubes were used as sacrificial templates.The mechanism and spectra of Au nanocages was discussed.(2)The Au nanocages with the localized surface plasmon reasonance(LSPR)peak of 697 nm was modified with HS-PEG-NH2.Then,the PEGylated Au nanocages were combined with Ir-Dy coordination polymers via a dialysis process.The LSPR peak of the as-synthesized AuNC@CPs with an core-shell structure was red-shifted to 825 nm.The mechanism and popularity of the synthesis method was discussed.(3)The photothermal and photodynamic properties,PAI and MRI effects of AuNC@CPs in solution were researched.(4)For applications in vitro and in vivo,the OI,PTT,PAI and MRI experiments were carried and evaluated.
