Han period is an important period of the foundation of the traditional exegetics.There are many important books of traditional exegetics,such as ErYa,FangYan,ShuoWenJieZi,ShiMing,XiaoErYa,GuangYa.These books put the material scattered in the interpretation together and lay the foundation of traditional Chinese exegetics.They are of great significance to the development of the Chinese traditional linguistics.There are many researchs of these six kinds of exegetical book from ancient times to the present,primarily focus on studying the language phenomenon,including orthographic,phonological,exegesis,naming,edition.However,there is little research on the pharmaceutical content contained in it.Six kinds of exegesis in the book contains the name of the drug to retain a lot of names of the original shape and meaning.According to the records and later researches of the six book established drug name,supply the content of today’s large dictionaries and Chinese Pharmaceutical Works.We can also explore the relationship between drug name,voice and vocabulary.The summary introducts studys of the history of these six exegetical books,including book situation,version,and so on.Second sub-class monograph commentaries,exegetical research paper periodical special book for every representative works of ancient and recent status as outlined.Combined with existing research results,introduce an overview of the research on the content of Chinese medicine in each book.The chapter Ⅰ introduces period exegetical book,the research contents,research status,research significance and research methods and materials.In the chapter Ⅱ,clear the standard of determining drug name in this article.Using material to introduce the drug names in these books.After preliminary statistics,there are seven hundred and fifteen drug names in ErYa,seventy two drug names in FangYan,eight hundred and forty-four drug names in ShuoWenJieZi,twenty five drug names in ShiMing,nine drug names in XiaoErYa,six hundred and five drug names in GuangYa.Mainly divided into plant,animal,mineral,and other four kinds of situations.Plants account for the largest proportion.This chapter introduces mainly the drug names in FangYan,ShiMing and XiaoErYa.Chapter Ⅲ to Chapter Ⅴ,introduce meticulous drug names in ErYa,ShuoWenJieZi,GuangYa.Research the name which exists doubt,analysis the uncertain drug names.The chapter Ⅵ mainly analyzes the shape,sound and meaning of the drug name,and explores its value in linguistics.This essay research collects the drug names in ErYa,FangYan,ShuoWenJieZi,ShiMing,XiaoErYa,GuangYa.Sort out the names of the drugs contained in this book.Digging the value of the pharmacy that is preserved in these six books and filling this blank.Using old note,research some drug names to find out new materials.Supply and correct herbal literatures and modern dictionary interpretation.ErYa,FangYan,ShuoWenJieZi,ShiMing,XiaoErYa and GuangYa integrate medicine and linguistics.This article attempts to explore the characteristics of the language in which the drug name is reflected in the process of change.Using exegesis books to research drug names,combine medicine,literature and history.It is not only meaningful to research drug names,but also expand the scope of exegesis,rich academic research results.Above all,it is necessary to do this part of the detailed study and mining.
