Meta-analysis Of The Clinical Efficacy Of Floating Needle In The Treatment Of Lumbar Disc Herniation

Objective: Explore the superiority of FSN therapy for LDH and the present situation of related RCT studies.Method: Keywords were searched and retrieved by 2 systematic reviewers,and made the search strategy scientificly and effectively.The data searched by computer were come from VIP Chinese science and technology periodical database,China How Net,China biomedical literature database,Wanfang database,Pubmed database and Cochrane Library.And the range of year were from 1996 to 2016.And all the treatment group treated lumbar disc herniation were treated with floating needle therapy,and the control group treated lumbar disc herniation were treated with normal acupuncture and other randomized controlled clinical trial therapies.According to exclusion and inclusion criteria,there were 19 articles met the inclusion criteria.Criteria for risk assessment of Cochrane in the literature were used as criteria for risk assessment,and data collected were analyzed by Revman5.3 software.Based on the combination of floating needle therapy as a subgroup analysis,the VAS score and the effective rate of treatment were used as the observation index.Results: A total of 1834 patients were enrolled in this study,including a total of 926 patients in the treatment group and a control group of 908 patients.All patients were from outpatient department and inpatient department.The age range of the patients was from 20 to 84,which was consistent with the diagnostic criteria of lumbar disc herniation.The results showed that the floating needle therapy as a treatment group in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation was better than the non floating needle therapy as a control group(OR=3.59,95%CI:2.56,5.02).In addition,this study will be divided into 3 groups: simple floating needle therapy,floating needle combined with acupuncture,floating needle combined with traction therapy,the effectiveness of the three groups were better than the control group:simple floating needle therapy group(OR=4.03,95%CI:2.51,6.47),floating needle combined with acupuncture group(OR=5.07,95%CI:1.99,12.92),floating needle combined with traction therapy group(OR=2.28,95%CI1.13,4.16)..VAS score(WMD=-1.21,95%CI-2.17,-0.25)showed that the floating needle in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation,can reduce the patient’s VAS score.The funnel shape has a good symmetry,which shows that the risk of bias is small.Conclusion: This study shows that the floating needle therapy is superior to other therapies in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation;the curative effect of floating needle therapy combined with acupuncture and The results showed that the curative effect of floating needle therapy combined with acupuncture combined with acupuncture combined with traction therapy was better than that of simple acupuncture and traction with traction therapy was better than that of simple acupuncture and traction.Floating needle therapy on disc herniation patients could decrease VAS score significantly.Floating needle therapy has the potential advantage,further we may do more investigation of high-quality randomized controlled trials to confirm.
