Part one:The efficacy analysis of ultrasound-guided microwave ablation for benign thyroid nodules. Objective To analyze the effect of ultrasound-guided microwave ablation for benign thyroid nodules. Methods 167 benign thyroid nodules of the 120 patients had been treated by the therapy of Ultrasound-guided microwave ablation.During the month after surgeries,we regularly checked patients' thyroid function, and observed the changes of ablation of nodules by contrast-enhanced ultrasound. Results The MWA treatments for the 120 patients' 167 nodules were successfully completed. After surgeries for 1,3,6,12 months, the patients' thyroid nodules volume had been reduced, and the reduction rates were 23.39 ± 34.09%.?45.28 ±33.89%?82.99±23.46%?86.59±18.42(P<0.05)respectively,after surgeries for 12 months, the follow-up cure rate was 42.33%,total effective rate was 94.61%,ineffective rate was 5.39%,and after surgeries one month, there was no significant functional decline on thyroid had been found. Conclusion the treatment of ultrasound-guided microwave ablation has no significant negative effect on thyroid's function. After the surgery, volume of patient's thyroid nodules had been reduced gradually. It has definite therapeutic effect, and it's safe for patients.Therefor, the clinical results of the treatment are satisfactory.Part two:To investigate the efficiency of ultrasound-guided lauromacrogol injection in the treatment of benign thyroid nodulesObjective:To investigate the efficiency of ultrasound-guided percutaneous fine needle lauromacrogol injection in the treatment of benign thyroid nodules.Methods:90 patients who were diagnosed with benign thyroid nodules by using ultrasound scans accepted the treatment of ultrasound-guided percutaneous fine needle lauromacrogol injection. They were treated by injecting lauromacrogol after percutaneous draining out hydatid fluid from thyroid nodules under ultrasound-guided way,and observe the efficiency by ultrasound regularly.Result:As a result,2 of the 90 patients had quit the treatment, because they were too nervous to drain out hydatid fluid from their thyroid nodules. On the Other hand, the other 88 patients had completed the sclerosing treatments. One month after the surgeries,we found 89 thyroid nodules volume from the 57 patients had been reduced sharply.41 patients' 44thyroid nodules had no significant reduction, and the blood flow signal of inside nodules had not disappeared completely.Therefor, they had taken the treatment again. After surgeries for 1,3,6,12 months, the patients' thyroid nodules volume had been reduced, and the reduction rates were 32.65±29.16%?48.61±28.61%?84.36±20.63%?88.53±17.21%(P<0.05)respectively,after surgeries for 12 months, the follow-up cure rate was 28.8%,total effective rate was 96.8%,ineffective rate was 3.2%,and after surgeries one month, there was no significant functional decline on thyroid had been found. Conclusion:the ultrasound-guided lauromacrogol injection in the treatment of benign thyroid nodules is good and safe.
