As one of the four ancient civilizations, the Chinese culture has a long history and it is splendid. Music is one important part of the culture, national instruments have a unique charm and enjoy the important position in the world cultural history.In the family of four ancient musical instrument, the string instrument occurs at the latest time. With the development of cultural environment it forms a series of pull-stringed instruments. Pull-stringed instruments gradually become the main accompaniment instruments in many local folk music.Since the Aesthetic tendency of the Chinese nation and strong dependence of stringed instrument, bowed stringed instrument family only acts supporting role in rap accompaniment or instrumental ensemble before Qing Dynasty.To the 20 th century, some national artists innovate the erhu, it makes this musial instrument started on the right track.With the rise of the "May Fourth" new culture movement, Chinese culture and Western culture have dramatic collision.Liu Tianhua Learn some playing techniques characteristics of Western violin and plucked instruments.The playing techniques characteristics enrich the expressiveness of erhu and improve the erhu playing skills.Erhu called "Beggar" Musial become solo instrument with unique beautful timbre and rich expressive. Since modern times, the erhu virtuoso and professional composers increased rapidly. Erhu Solo has developed rapidly in the playing content and expression form,and have been the main force in the national music.
