The only high temperature superconductor xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.. This is sufficient for.The definition of installation art has a denotation that is loosely and vaguely defined. The term installation, whether as a verb (to assemble, to locate), or as a noun (mixed material medium) that speaks in generalization to materialism, neither could offer us evident "formal parameters" on installation art. Installation, an apparatus of artistic languages constructed in the twentieth century, was formulated to explore the philosophical art question of "What is art? ". This deviated from modernism as well as Clement Greenberg's (1909-1994) "formal purity" and "pictorial flatness" from the very beginning and enters the space-theater.This essay will first differentiate installation art with traditional sculptural and spatial mediums through analyzing the spatiality and mobility of installation art. Then, the essay will demonstrate Michael Fried's(1939-) dissection on "objecthood" and "theatricality" to help readers understand the inner heredity (modernist formalist critique) of installations, to acknowledge the inherently progressive nature of installation art that was derived from its historical origin.Through explaining the dialectical relations between installation and theater, the essay will further address the limitations of Fried's view on minimalism that resulted in the subjugation of positive significances of "theatricality" within its theoretical system Thereby, the essay will identify the positive significances of "theatricality" primarily in spatial related practices within the scope of contemporary art.
