On The Technical Application Of The Dance Segment Connection In The Dance Creation

Choreography is the art or practice of designing sequences of movements of physical bodies(or their depictions) in which motion, form, or both are specified. At the beginning of a design, people generally focus on creating novel movements, smooth sequences and complete dance, which is the process of accumulation. A well-designed dance involves devotion to consistent scrutiny of each choreography elements and even reconstruction. Though this is the essential foundation of choreography to which students are inclined, they ignore the importance of dance paragraph coherence and leave it to their instructors. Thus some students experience detailed specific designing and still cannot conceive the completeness of choreography. Due to complex structure, longer dances requires more piecewise sequences which are practically designed separately and connected afterwards. Under such cases, those student are forced to recollect that how instructors accomplish Dance paragraph connection and imitate.This paper analyzes the mechanism and specific techniques of connection and its application. The contents includes two parts. The first part introduces mechanisms of connection. The second part expounds those techniques and illustrates them in actual chorography case.
