The Ideological Connotation And Aesthetic Implication Of Yan Lianke's Novels

Yan Lianke is an influential writer in Chinese contemporary literary circles.After reading his four novels named "Dream of Ding Village" "Live" "Flying Years in Sunlight" "Burst Chi",I found that there are many similarities between some ideas in the novel and the Taoist thought,more writers on the basis of deep living and life to think about the reality of life in rural areas.So far,there are not so much from the perspective of Taoist thought embodied in the rustic life,but the research mainly involves the magic image,the narrative structure,the realism and so on.Therefore,this paper focuses on the implication of Taoist ideas embodied in these four works,as well as the image composition and the use of language to interpret these four works.This paper is composed of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.In the introduction,the paper mainly expounds Yan Lianke's creative process,research status of his writing and the significance of the subject.The main body consists of two chapters.The first chapter says the content of the novel described in the novel residual disease,death and desire reflects some Taoist ideas.On the first,I explain the concept of life and death in the novel to show Taoist view of “life is to be valued”,”happy life”and so on.Then I explain village's living free,well-off and leisurely as the peach garden with fertile soil and enough water in the four novels to show such aspects as Lao Tzu's “small territory and population" and "down of the world".Afterword,I explain the image of the disabled and normal person in the four novels with the opinion of “more virtue,more forgotten of physical defect”.Next I desire from the aspects of “no desire” and “desire” to explain people's pursuit of power.At fast,I explain the repetition appeared repeatedly in the four novels to show the argument of “Great things”.On the second chapter,I interpret the image from the angle of "standing as the object".In the first,I sort out the images of the four novels,which mainly relate to the dream image,the natural image and the time image.And I put these images into the vision of Confucianism and Taoism.Then I further explanation the aesthetic features of image,which includes the whole symbolic and the implication of language and so on.Finally,I interpret the “abnormal way”from the perspective of absurdity of image and the resistance of language.The conclusion makes a general review of Yan Lianke,this paper makes a general analysis of the controversy caused by Yan Lianke's novels,and emphatically expounds the ideological inspiration and artistic impact power of Yan Lianke's writing.This paper gives us a new view of Yan Lianke's works.
