As a man who loved landscape and landscape garden,Wen Zhengming painted many garden landscape paintings during his life.He led the thriving of garden landscape paintings in the Ming dynasty and the direction of development later.Through his garden landscape paintings and painting language,this paper described the reasons for his enthusiastic to garden landscape paintings,and concluded that his garden landscape paintings contained humanism.In this paper,the way how Wen Zhengming made a living was also been discussed to analysis his noble character.
