| Huarui is a remaining regional concept in historical development, the name of which shows the historical evaluation on the humanistic cultural connotation of this Tibetan settlement. Huarui Tibetan area, which is called "Heroic Tribe" historically, is a piece of holy land where Buddhism prevails. It is an important component of the Amdo Tibetan areas. It has strong local cultural characteristics and outstanding local style. Huarui in history consisted of regions like Tianzhu, Wuwei, Yongdeng, Gulang, Sunan and Mati, Menyuan, Datong, Huzhu, Ledu in today; while "Huarui" in the modern sense refers to Tianzhu Minority County.
