The Artistic Aesthetic Study Of The Portrait Of The Stone Skull In The Han Dynasty

Sarcophagus pictorial is the unique decoration art of Han dynasty, which possess the strong characteristics of the times. Sarcophagus portrait in hejiang country, as an important part of Han Dynasty pictorial sarcophagus, highlights the regional style of art and the aesthetic connotation. And it reflects the social life and spiritual pursuit of people in hejiang country(at the time callde “fuxian”)or even south Sichuan in Han dynasty, which have the important cultural and aesthetic value.Han dynasty is the whole unification period of Chinese culture and politics. The orthodox Confucianism intertwines with the heterodox Taoism, and the two thoughts filled with the spiritual world of Han dynasty, plus with the characteristics of national culture and aesthetic taste in south Sichuan, form the particular sculpture style and the implication of aesthetic culture in sarcophagus portrait of hejiang country in Han dynasty. This paper is based on the subject-centered standard of aesthetics with applying the field survey method to detailedly research, record and descript the sarcophagus portrait in hejiang country, combined with the research method of art aesthetics to comprehensive explore and think deeply the sarcophagus portrait in hejiang country. Try to in-depth interpretation the rich culture value and aesthetic connotation of this cultural relic with the perspective of art aesthetics.According to the portraits of secular life and fairy tale of sarcophagus in hejiang country, such as travelling, mansion, Fuxi and Nuwa, i focus on the sculpture aesthetics of the composition layout and technique of expression of the sarcophagus portrait in hejiang country and the implication of Confucian theory and Taoist immortal to highlight the distinction of the sarcophagus portrait in central plain and hejiang country. Furthermore, I analyze the reason about cultural custom in south Sichuan, namely the connection, conflict, integration and development of central plain's culture and south Sichuan culture.In this paper, I take the sarcophagus portrait in hejiang country as an example, deeply study the artistic characteristics, the aesthetic connotation and the cause of cultures to provide some useful reference for the research on aesthetics of sarcophagus portrait in the future.
