Wei Yijun's Poetry Research

Wei Xiejun,a famous poet and calligrapher in northeast of late Qing Dynasty,has left behind a variety of valuable works which have important research value for the later generations.So far,the academic field has not pay enough attention to him.The existing researches are often confined to his life or his specific works,still lack of comprehensive explorations of the themes and art of the poetry.The innovation of this thesis lies in the analysis of its artistic characteristics,divisions and influences from the aspects of the subject matter and the cultural background,according to his life experience and thought.The full text is divided into four chapters,with the focus on the second and third chapter.The first chapter focuses on Wei Xiejun's life and thought.According to the relevant literature and the poet's own works,his life experience can be divided into three stages,Tieling farming period,Jinzhou fantastic tour period,poorly return home period;compassion of the world,tiredness of travel and nostalgia,and fondness of nature are interwoven in his life.The second chapter mainly categorizes Wei Xiejun's poems based on the subject matter.The creation of poetry stems from life.Wei Xiejun's poetic themes,although widely,can be divided into four categories according to his life experience,that is,works of landscape tour,works of pastoral life,works of sarcasm of the world,works of farewell and recalling.The third chapter comprehensively discusses the artistic characteristics of Wei Xiejun's poems.It discusses mainly from the perspective of simple flexible image,natural language and diversity of the poetic style.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the division and influence of Wei Xiejun's poems.Wei Xiejun familiarizes the pastoral life,so his poetry has a vivid orientation to quasi-pottery;Poets feature the emotion of Confucianism,thus always reveals the traces of learning Du Fu.On this point,the article studies the value of Wei Xiejun poetry to the later generations.In short,based on Wei Xiejun's works,by adopting analysis,induction,synthesis and so on to,this article aims to study his life and thinking,to explore the content,art,division of his poetry,together with the poetry value for future generations.It is intended to strive to fully grasp his works and give Wei a reasonable evaluation in terms of his status in the Northeast in the late Qing Dynasty.
