The Study Of The Tragic Meaning Of Mo Yan's Novels

Mo Yan was born in the 1950s,his childhood and youth coincided with the darkest period in modern Chinese history.Sour childhood experiences,prompting Mo Yan to write a world of suffering,his novels are dense in tragedy colors,reflect people's sufferings from different levels,full of detailed delineation of people's living conditions and profound exposition of human nature,with a unique record of the specific background of historical events.Mo Yan pursues new ways of artistic expression in his novel consistently,under the shroud of his unruly and unrestrained language style,unconventional themes and unique narrative modalities,contains the profound connotation of "soul interrogating",reaching human enlightenment and guidance through depiction of tragedies.This paper is composed of four parts.The first part is "Introduction",which outlines the current research status related to this topic,and focuses on the innovation and research significance of this paper.This text aims to analyze the forms,artistic expressions,ideological connotation and artistic value of the lingering tragic implication in Mo Yan's novels.The second part summarizes and classifies forms of tragic implication in Mo Yan's novels,consider Mo Yan's description of life tragedy including poverty,hunger,distortion,death and personal or racial spiritual value loss;human tragedy includes "foolish" and "evil",containing hypocrisy,conformity,absurd cruel,greedy,selfish of people in the real world;while epoch tragedy includes incompatible conflictions between human desire and the objective environment,and impact of history force on ordinary people's lives and fates.The third part mainly discusses Mo Yan's tragedy art rendering method,analyze his literary world of absurdity and reality,illusion and truth,bring the female and children images into focus,seek the characteristics and connotation of contradiction of the characters,and to study on the tragic images and the rich and varied narrative mode of his works,to explore Mo Yan's pursuit of "great compassion".The fourth part use fate tragedy,personality tragedy and social tragedy views of the western literary theory as theoretical basis,to analyzed the causes of the tragedies in Mo Yan's work,through the surface of fate tragic or personality tragedy,dig out Mo Yan's social tragedy kernel,thus realizing Mo Yan's firm society concept view of tragedy.In the aspect of the aesthetic value of Mo Yan's novels,I focus on the novel's creation tendency of "effacing noble" and catharsis powerful sense of style.The "effacing noble" creation tendency this paper discussed which differs from the concept of "anti noble",means using appropriate art practices to a certain extent to the tragedy of the solemn and noble senses to achieve the"effacing noble" attempt to the tragedy theme rather than avoiding and opposing noble.This part also studied the cathartic expression in Mo Yan's novels,I believe although this kind of expression shows frenzy,distortion and entanglement on the surface of the text,the core of the works presents the author's affectionate deep call of the national spirit awakening.
