Research On The Adaptation Of Online Novel TV Series

From 2004 when The First Close Contact,a TV play which was adapted from a network novel,was released,to 2011,the year of network novels,and to 2015,the first year of IP era,TV plays adapted from network novels rose rapidly in the more and more complicated market environment to cater to the increasingly picky tastes of audiences and became a main force in the market of TV plays.Compared to previous adaptation texts,network novels have special characters,which injected fresh vitality into the contents,production link and marketing link of TV plays in the new era.Hence,the integration of network novels and TV plays becomes a topic worthy of discussing.Based on the existing research findings in the academic circle and the TV play adaptation practice of current network novels,reasons leading to the wave are explored,with a view to organize the overall development process,as well as analyze and summarize the artistic styles,adaptation strategies and occurred marketing means.
