The Study Of The Working Mechanism Of Working Memory In The Processing Of Second Language Syntactic Ambiguous Sentences

Sentence processing research aims to reveal the psychological mechanism of the sentence.On the cognitive processing of the ambiguous sentence is effected by the past,there have been many ambiguous sentences research on the treatment of native speakers found lexical information,syntactic structures,and discourse information,rhythm,and reading the working memory span,but few scholars study foreign language learner in the cognitive processing of ambiguous sentences.Is closely related to the differences in working memory capacity and individual cognitive ability,with the in-depth study of the theory of working memory and the second language learning of wide deployment,the effect of working memory on second language comprehension and processing,attracted the attention of,but related to working memory in the L2 syntactic processing mechanism of didn't get consistent results.Combined with second language learner's own conditions and learning a second language channels and the environment to explore the working memory of L2 sentence processing effect to on working memory mechanism have more in-depth understanding,also to be able to combine learning with its own situation to improve second language learning efficiency.And the combination of all kinds of research methods will help to fully reflect the whole process and the results of the two sentence processing.31 college students who were native speakers of Uygur and second were selected to participate in the working memory span test,and the eye movement test.The other 30 subjects participated in the experiment.According to the size of the working memory span of 31 students,they were divided into high and low groups,16 groups of high and 15 low.The first fixation time,the total reading time and the number of times of the total reading time were collected by eye movement experiment.In this study,all the data were analyzed by SPSS software,and the cases of the fixed number of the subjects in the reading process were analyzed.The results of the study are as follows:1)The Uighur-speaking learners of Chinese have similar processing mechanism of Chinese garden path sentences with other second language learners.2)Under the influence of working memory span,along with the role of the Chinese level,there is a significant difference in sentence processing between subjects,while this difference is reflected in online and offline.3)For unskilled Uighur-Chinese bilinguals,the greater the working memory load get,the longer the processing for the garden path sentences requires,and the worse the accuracy becomes.
