Hannah Arendt's Study Of The Philosophical Thinking Of "the Mediocrity Of Evil"

Hanna(Hannah)is an outstanding thinker,statesman and philosopher in the twentieth Century,in the early years of research and follow the philosophy of Existentialism(Arendt).Ahrendt's philosophy has changed dramatically since he took part in the trial of Nazi war criminals in Jerusalem in 1961,and then raised the famous and controversial theory of "banality of evil" in the world of Eichmann.Ahrendt,like Eichmann,who committed a great sin is "without thinking" of the people during the Second World War,they will do so,because of the destruction and removal of collective plural individual human nature.The formation of "banality of evil" is not the negation of "extreme evil" in Ahrendt's early "the origin of totalitarianism".Through the discussion of Ahrendt proposed in Jerusalem after the trial of Eichmann's "banality of evil" this theory,analyzed from the perspective of the perpetrators,victims and bystanders three party,the motivation to find "the banality of evil",and through the analysis of three aspects of thinking and judgment,commonality and public space,and freedom of action to finally put forward specific measures to prevent the "banality of evil".This paper is divided into three parts.The first part of the background of Hanna Ahrendt's "banality of evil" thought,with "alienation of evil" this image as the breakthrough point,analyzes the relationship between "the banality of evil" and"extreme evil",and through the experiment of Standford,"the banality of evil" to do further proof.In the second part,through the analysis of the perpetrators,victims and bystanders,it is demonstrated that how to realize the "banality of evil" step by step in the process of totalitarianism.Discuss the causes of Ahrendt's "human nature." this caused stripping "the banality of evil",namely the totalitarian political system caused by high pressure,the boundaries between the persecutor and persecution are becoming blurred,victims of their own miserable experience should not shirk its responsibility,the victim of hate twist often revenge after injury.In the high pressure of totalitarianism,the lack of human nature is brought about by the victim to the executioner of compromise,destroyed in the Holocaust victims not only of humanity,but the entire personality,morality and dignity,the bottom line all destroyed.In the third part,the author tries to find out the possibility of preventing"banality of evil" in Hanna's philosophy of Ahrendt.Through the demonstration of the relationship between thinking and judgment,and then put forward the common sense and public space is the key to determine the implementation of the action,and freedom of action is to maintain the fundamental reason for the plural.
