The Localization Of Chinese Picture Book Creation Since The New Century

In the 21 st century, picture books experienced the heat of introduction in China,however, with the introduction, publishing and reading promotion of foreign picture books, relevant person sense a crisis form imported picture books. The native writers of our country put forward "localization of creation",try to create local picture books for children living in the context of Chinese culture, explore a suitable path for the development of Chinese picture books.In the localization of the creation of picture books in China, the author takes the native culture as the method and way of the localization of picture book creation. Starting from the content and form of expression,the authors try to integrate the local culture into the creation of picture books .Behind the localization contains the creator's education view ,such as let the children close to their own culture, feel the charm of traditional art,the transmission of Chinese philosophical thought,the dissemination of Oriental aesthetic taste, etc..In the "localization" creative ideas,the new century,China's local picture book ushered in a period of rapid development, the emergence of a number of local flavor with picture books. But from the perspective of children, we can find out the problems in the creation of picture books in our country. The creation of picture books in China to a certain extent, ignore the children's aesthetic needs, like to go into the performance of the traditional culture of the "vicious circle", the localization of the road encountered direction deviation and the market deserted.Based on this, the author puts forward some suggestions for the healthy development of picture books in China: start from the perspective of children's expectation, we should integrate the spirit of game. While learn from the cultural transfer of foreign picture books, while actively exploring the diverse forms of cultural expression,and finally need to use appropriate artistic techniques to increase the communication of the picture.Native culture is the inspiration and source of the creation of picture books, but in the cultivation of children's affinity for the local culture, the creators should be more intelligent, more creative. Localization is not narrow and absolute, the essence of creation is for children.
