Research On The Structure Of "X Bi W Yao/dou/hai/geng W" Based On Subjective And Objective Division Of Labor

"Subjectivity"and"subjectivization"have always been the focus of attention in the grammar field in recent years.However,there have been relatively few studies on subjective and objective issues of language expression.This article starts with the perspective of the subjective and objective division of language and selects four structures that are more commonly used in word sentences:"X bi???Y yao???W","X bi???Y dou???W","X bi???Y hai???W"and"X bi???Y geng???W"for comparative analysis.Because previous research on the modal verbs“yao”and adverbs“dou”,“hai”,and“geng”in the above structures has been very fruitful,the focus of this study is not on the words themselves,so if it does not involve the expressed in this article's viewpoint,theprevious research will not be repeated here.The full text mainly includes the following parts:Chapter one:Introduction:Explaining the background and significance of the research questions in this paper;defining the research object and scope;describing the research methods and sources of a corpus.Chapter two:The subjective modality"X bi???Y yao???W".First of all,it is clear that"yao???"as a multi-modal verb has an epistemic modality in the comparative sentence,it enhances the speaker's subjectivity.This chapter summarizes the syntactic features and pragmatic conditions of"X bi???Y yao???W",and analyzes its formation process from a diachronic perspective."X bi???Y yao???W"embodies the speaker's conjectureabout the prediction of the event,or the hypothesis and inference of the non-real event.Chapter three:"X bi???Y dou???W"and its ambiguity problem.This chapter mainly discusses the ambiguity of the two homographic constructions of"X bi???Y dou₁??₁?W and"X bi???Y dou??₂?W"."Dou??₁?"is a range adverb.It appears in the comparative sentence,and it is the universal quantificationto Y."dou₂??₂?"is a mood adverb.It acts as a focus-sensitive operator in the comparative sentence,with hierarchical presupposition,subjective quantification and subjectivity polarity.Chapter flour:Subjective and objective:"X bi???Y hai???W"and"X bi???Y geng???W".This chapter mainly discusses the issue of subjective and objective division of labor.According to the theory of markedness,it summarizes several criteria for distinguishing the subjective and objective expressions.According to the laws of human language expression,which is an evolution"from objectivity to subjectivity".This chapter has drawn a preliminary conclusion:"X bi???Y hai???W"is used for objective expression,but it can also be used for subjective expression in certain contexts."hai???"is used as a mark of increment of metalanguage and anti-expectation mark in the comparative sentence,and often co-occurring with the end-of-sentence particle"ne???"to enhance the subjective color;"geng???"is used as an adverb of degree and is used for objective comparison,without the function of increment of metalanguage.From the perspective of diachronic,the structure of"X bi???Y hai???W"and"X bi???Y geng???W"both have a process of self-development.After the two types of subjective and objective expression components are formed,the division of labor gradual becomes clear with the grradually use of language communication.Chapter Five:Conclusion.This paper summarizes the problems of subjective and objective division of labor in the selected cases of this article,and clearly expresses that the difference between subjective and objective is the tendency of difference."Subjectification"is a diachronic concept and it is also a process of development and change.We refer to the view of the theory of markedness,and regard the expression of subjectivation as a notational item,so the form of subjective expression is often more than the objective expression.If the"dou yao????","hai yao????"and"geng yao????",etc.,appear in the comparative sentence,it is a manifestation of the deepening of subjectivism.
