Yu Jianhua's Art Criticism And The Relevance Research Of His Painting Thoughts

Over a long period of time,educational circles have focus mostly on Yu Jianhua for his research achievements in paintings.Consequently,his criticism has always been ignored by people.Based on the comprehensive investigation on his academic career,it was found that the credits of Yu Jianhua in constructing the reorganization of painting histories and theories has an exterior-interior and corresponding connection with his criticism.Based on this,Yu Jianhua highly affirmed the practice to explore a new way of transforming Chinese painting by infusing local cultural resources.This exploration remains of great significance even in today's society,when the modern transformation of Chinese Fine Arts has reached a new point of inflexion.This study emphasizes the formation and development of his criticism,and compares it with his research achievements in paintings,revealing the interactional and mutually analytic relationship between his criticism and theoretical research on fine arts.
