| Keigo Higashino who is the Japanese mystery novelist went on the path of full-time writing after receiving the Edogawa award for After School in 1985.Today,his works have been introduced to more than 20 different countries and regions,The Reflection of The Devotion of Suspect X,White Night,Grief Grocery Store and many other works continued to occupy the sales rankings.His works were published in Nanhai Publishing Company,Yilin Publishing Company,People's Literature Publishing House and so on,in total 13 publishing institutions successively in the domestic.The film adaptation of The Reflection of The Devotion of Suspect X,Grief Grocery Store have been released,Secret and other works of film and also in preparation.Now,China has set off a "Keigo Higashino boom".In recent years,academia has begun to pay attention to Keigo Higashino's novel creation from the perspective of analyzing characters,reflecting social problems.However,the research in this field has not yet fully explained the reasons why Keigo Higashino's selling well in China.This paper is to sort out the transmission process of Keigo Higashino's works in China based on the theory of communication and reception aesthetics,and analyze the general readers' group characteristics by questionnaire.It can be seen from the analysis that the ordinary readers are predominantly female,young and highly educated,and there are obvious differences in geographical distribution,access channels and reading habits among the general readers.Unlike ordinary readers,the professional readers' acceptance of Keigo Higashino's works is mainly embodied in academic research.It is a common research direction to study some of Keigo Higashino's works and to explain Keigo Higashino's works by using western literary theory or comparative perspective.Through the extensive spread of Keigo Higashino in China,it is inseparable from the promotion of the mechanism of literary award,the marketing strategy and the adaptation of film and television. |
