Fu in the Eastern Han Dynasty holds a large proportion of the existing Han Fu,different from the intense emotional nature of Fu in the Western Han Dynasty,and they leave an elegant impression which is related to a plenty of allusions in Fu.In the process of creation,some of the writers pay a tribute to the dynasty;some show strong satire of reality,some express their melancholy,others express jocosity,so each kind of theme is expressed by allusions,especially allusions of lyrical Fu.The use of allusions of Fu in the Eastern Han Dynasty,which are widely and centrally used,is never seen in the Fu in the Western Han Dynasty.Although,this kind of phenomenon has a direct relation with the good educational experience of these writers,but profound developments in literature,politics and academic environment in the Eastern Han Dynasty are the major causes of it.With The comprehensive effect of these factors,Eastern Han Fu's allusions showed an obvious Confucian tendency.Combined with the utilitarian value and literariness of Han Fu,this thesis investigates the interaction and influence of Eastern Han Fu's allusions,and describes their developments in literature and politics as the key point of these allusions.This paper is divided into three parts:introduction,research content and conclusion:The introduction part contains the current status of the study related to Han Fu and allusions individually.As the research related to allusions of Han Fu is relatively few and includes some individual chapters in ancient literary theories,so some interpretation and research of allusions from other poems is also covered by author as a reference work.In addition to the definitions of allusions,the author defines some relevant concepts which are related to the historical stages of Eastern Han Dynasty,the range and the classification of Fu in the Eastern Han Dynasty.The second part is the main body,which is divided into three chapters.According to the categories of Fu in the Eastern Han Dynasty,the first chapter explains allusions of Fu in the Eastern Han Dynasty,analyzes the specific ways of using allusions in five different categories of Fu,and presents the statistical data of the source of allusions.On this basis,the author analyzes the political background and reason of using allusions;The second chapter is the study of writers.Through the analysis of four writers of the Eastern Han Dynasty--Ban Gu,Zhang Heng,Cai Yong and Wang Can's Fu,the author investigates different characters of allusions in different historical stages,thus showing how specific allusions concretely reflect the politics and academics;The third chapter analyzes the effects and influence of allusions of Eastern Han Fu.In the analysis of results,the author carries out investigation in a political and literature point of view.In the same portion,the significance of using allusions is investigated by the perspective of the development of literatures.In order to justify the advantages and disadvantages of using allusions,the author has made an effort to discuss it in an objective and rigorous way.The third part is the conclusion which reflects that the phenomenon of allusions of Fu in the Eastern Han Dynasty happened because of profound literature development and grew popular in accompany with the political background which was administering the country by inheriting classics and the academic environment.The transmission of Confucian spirit and the enterprising spirit from allusions is not only obscure,actually it also shows an obvious connection between the literature and politics of Han Dynasty.
