Manchu was lived at Changbai mountain and Heilongjiang river generation by generation,which located in the northeast of China.Their unique food culture has been formed in this place.By the national development,Manchu food culture was basically inherited from their ancient ancestors—Jurchen,and on the basis of Jurchen's culture inheritance and development,their old traditions Including foodstuff,cooking,method and what they eat,which has a powerful distinctive fishing and hunting culture inclination.Since the Qing dynasty,as cultural exchange deeply between each groups,makes food culture exhibits more abundant and energetic,created a distinctive food culture of northeast.Different from the past research and study,this paper put the emphasis focus on ordinary Manchu people,which reflect the Manchu diet more obviously.This paper discusses the content on that formation of the background and characteristics of Manchu food culture,discuss such constantly enrich content with Manchu food culture created and developed,perceived the precious value of Manchu food culture in the northeast.
