Research On Adult Foreign Language Learning Motivation In Modern Open Distance Education Environment

With the development of technology,changes occur everywhere in our life.In order to keep with the time,it is necessary for everybody to learn during life time.Modern Distance Opening Education is bound to help the people who want to study all their lives.As one of the most important required subjects,the motivation in foreign language learning of the adults is being paid more and more attention.At the beginning of this dissertation,the first section introduces the background,the purposes and the meaning of the research.The next section discusses the study status from home and abroad.The third part interprets the L2 MSS,so as to provide the theoretical basis for the dissertation.In chapter three,introduces the research contents and the basic methods.In chapter four,the paper makes analysis from the results of the survey.In the last part,the paper makes some suggestions from the macro(government and society),mid(school management and Modern Distance Opening Education system)and micro(teachers)three aspects to aroused motivation.
