Opening judgments to the public is the important part of justice. Changing the way of opening judgments from traditional paper to digital paper is more and more popular in the word. Many country such as America, England, and Japan has started opening their digital judgments online a long time ago. Since 2014, the judgment open platform of China has been officially built by the Supreme Court. Two years has past, the actual running of this judgment open platform turns out isn't satisfactory. The main purpose of the article is by using empirical method to find out the reason why the judgment open platform doesn't work well.This article is divided into five parts. The first part of this paper is about the significance of the judgment platform. Opening judgments online not only good for improve the judicial transparency, but also good for the public to realization their rights of supervision. The second part of this paper is about the Chinese history of opening digital judgments online, and the main content of the system of accessing judgments online in China. The third part focuses on the “China judgments online”, by using empirical method to find out the actual operation situation of this system. The fourth part mainly introduces the foreign experiences about opening judgments online and summarize the characteristic of other country which we should learn. The last part is about the things we should change to improve our judgment open platform.
