The Protection Of The Copyright Of Practical Works Of Art

The latest amendment of copyright law,will take the works of applied art as a separate class of works specified to protect calls for increasingly high.Also shows that the problem is a highly realistic significance to research subject.This paper therefore focused on the study of practical works of art of copyright protection.Firstly,clarify the conception,connotation and characteristics between the woks of applied art and the other objects.Additionally,in this paper,the works of applied art of international protection and foreign legislative cases was analyzed.Later,the protection of the works of applied art in our country history,current situation and existing problems were analyzed,and pointed out that our country exists that protection legislation for the works of applied art is not clearly,lack a unified protection at home and abroad,and so forth.Base on the present situation and problems the author brings forward suggestions.Primly,carrying out the conception of the works of applied art in the legislation as soon as possible.Secondly,improving the relevant provisions on copyright protection of works of applied art.Finally,the author discusses the protected modes for the works of applied art and their respective advantages and disadvantages in different countries.I consider that our country should establish the dual protection mode for the works of applied art,and analyzes how to establish the model in this paper.On all accounts,the copyright protection for the works of applied art is an inevitable development trend of the future.Therefore,squaring up to the reality demand in our country,taking a new step in the legislation,carrying out the protection in the copyright law for the works of applied art as quickly as possible.
