Contemporary China's Study Of British Party Diplomacy

Sino-British relations have been highly valued by the two countries.British is a typical bipartisan state and the political parties have an important influence on the country's diplomacy.The political parties' diplomacy between the two countries has had an important influence on the relations between the two countries.First of all,the paper this article makes a distinction between “political party diplomacy”and “inter-partyrelations ",“contemporary China's political party diplomacy" and "relations between the Chinese Communist Party and the British political parties" and find that there's no difference.By studying the "ruling party" and "opposition party",it comes to the conclusion that the ruling party and the opposition party are in competing and cooperative relations.By studying the history and relations of British two major political parties of the Conservative Party and the Labor Party,it concludes that China can use the relations between British two major political parties to develop political diplomatic relations between two countries.Secondly,this paper expounded the China's political diplomacy with British political parties by studying the relations of Chinese Communist Party with British ruling party and Chinese Communist Party with British opposition partyand conclude that the diplomacy of ruling party of China the main line of China's politicaldiplomacy and the diplomacy of opposition party is an important lever of China's political diplomacy towards British political parties.Thirdly,by studying the history of China's political party diplomacy with British ruling party and opposition party,the paper finds the different characteristics of the attitude of British Labor Party and the Conservative Party towards China and have come to the conclusion that in the future,the political diplomacy of Chinatowards British Conservative Party should be based on cultural exchanges;The political diplomacy of Chinatowards British Labor Party should be based on strengthening the communication of party construction.Finally,this paper concludes that China's Communist Party has to take the national interest and economic and trade relations as the starting point and develop a full range of political diplomacy with the British political parties.
