Research On The System Of Forgotten Rights And Implications For China's Relevant Legislation

The continuing development of information technology is one of the themes in the world.Internet technologies have already deeply imposed on every aspect of daily life.When people enjoy the convenience in the age of information,some traditional rights are facing challenge though.The cyber space can reserve great quantity of information,including personal information.With the development of information technology,the more channels we develop to get information,the easier a citizen's privacy right to be violated.Base on protecting privacy right and relevant economic benefit,citizen should possess a certain extent of right to self-determination on personal information.Then,the EU comes up with the concept of "right to be forgotten" to improve citizen's rights and interests on their personal information,especially on those against future personal development.This text starts with the appearance of right to be forgotten and exposes its distinctive traits of the era,then analyzes the subject of right and obligation,object,details and protective effect to personal information.At last,this text discuss the legislative practices of Western Countries(EU and America as examples)on right to be forgotten and find the enlightenment on legislation in China.
