In the past century, with the growing development of globalization and deepening of inter-state interaction, international law has been established and developed as an independent study.Although the substantive aspect of international law has gradually matured, its procedural aspect, especially the evidentiary rules, still lacks attention. With its establishment, the International Court of Justice(ICJ)has become the center of the theory and practices of international law.The rules and case law of ICJ have also become a prominent part of international law. However, similarly, evidentiary rules are absent in the Court`s Statute and have only been partly mentioned in the previous cases. This article is aimed to summarize the existing rules considered by ICJ in its case law and explore the future of international procedural law. This article is comprised of four parts, namely the rules of evidence collection and exclusion, the rules of non-production,the rules of proof and the rules of evidence. The rules and attitude of ICJ will be researched in this article by analyzing the representative cases.
