Research On The Transformation Of The Economic Function Of Local Governments In China

Under the background of economic globalization,many deep-seated contradictions and problems are increasingly related to the government with the transition of society and the economy.Local government is a member of the economic variables,and its behavior directly affects the development of China's economy.Local governments control most of the local resources.The distribution and policy of local governments are positively correlated with economic development.The key to the development of the region lies in the effectiveness of the economic functions of the local government.Local governments must play an active role in their economic functions,as well as follow the laws of the market and regulate regional economic activities,and optimize the allocation of resources so as to promote more rapid and stable development of the local economy.With the continuous changes in economic forms,how to reorient and adjust the transformation of the economic functions of local governments has a direct impact on the development of regional economies,but also on the overall development of the national economy and social harmony.Since the reform and opening up,the economy of the Tibet Autonomous Region has made great progress,but Tibet's economic growth is a clear investment-driven economy.Under the new situation,the localgovernment is required to transform its economic functions and adjust its economic structure.In particular,China's current economic development has entered a new normal,and the downward pressure on the overall economic situation is very large.China's economic development is in a “three-phase superposition” period of shifting periods.There are structural adjustment,and pre-stimulus policy digestion.The big background puts forward new requirements for the transformation of local government economic functions.This paper analyzed the economic situation of Duilongdeqingqu District based on theory and method of public management,and dicussed how the economic function of local governments change and play in the new situation.It is hoped to provide certain theoretical guidance for the transformation of the government economic functions of Duilongdeqing District and other less-developed areas.
