To solve above problems, this article choose open source hardware pcDuino for junior middle school students and education. Good compatibility with the Arduino, its itself already, powerful functions, programming forms (both graphical programming, and will be similar to the C language programming), can make middle school students can quickly grasp the basic knowledge and to practice innovation, but also with LEGO,3d printing, PVC, and other tools, a guest investment is small, suitable for the relative economic is relatively backward areas. This study after pcDuino application feasibility analysis, the whole application course system architecture, and verifies the case teaching. Main work of this study was the use of open source hardware pcDuino in X school junior middle school and the application practice of education research, based on the experimental objects, the experimental design analysis tools, such as learning program points, to carry out the teaching practice, analyses effect through a variety of forms, summarizes the problems existing in the teaching design, activities, and put forward the improvement opinion, in order to promote open source hardware, a guest education in our country, especially the development of the northwest region.Chapter 1 is the general introduction of the research. Including the research background, research purpose, research significance, research status, research contents, research methods and thesis framework.Chapter 2 is the definition of the core concepts and introduction of theoretical basis.Firstly,the author defines four core concepts relevant to this study:Maker, Maker education,open source hardware, pcDuino. Secondly, this paper introduces the related to this study four theoretical basis:the innovation education, the situational learning, build socialist theory, project learning method.Chapter 3 is the applied research of Open source hardware pcDuino in junior high school education. Firstly,the task is analyzed the pcDuino application advantages and feasibility in the junior high school education and guest, and then the author according to the actual circumstances of the experimental school of preparation, the learning object analysis, experimental tools preparation, learning project, learning activity design, project evaluation design six aspects has carried on the detailed analysis of the application.Chapter 4 is Open source hardware pcDuino guest education in junior high school after the application of case analysis.According to previous analysis, has carried on the teaching design and the implementation of the teaching activities; Through works show to share, questionnaire, interview and the study effect analysis in the form of understanding students’learning situation, so as to explore whether open-source hardware pcDuino suitable for junior middle school students and education, and students of this class teaching design and teaching activities implementation is approved.Chapter 5 is Open source hardware pcDuino guest education in junior high school after application problems and solution strategy.Through the practice of the fourth chapter and the analysis of questionnaire, interview, find the problems existing in the teaching activities:grouping lack of principle; Learning environment restrict the teaching activities; Teaching equipment influence teaching effect; To this, the author puts forward some Suggestions:further to optimize the design of the course; Improve the teaching activity design; Improve the learning environment.
