In China,The whole party and the people of the whole country set off a wave of in-depth study of the core values of socialism since the Party's the sixth Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee launched a program called "construction of the socialist core value system" in October,2006.Under the historical background of cultivating and practicing the socialist core values in the Party Central Committee,colleges should actively respond,explore and promote the cultivation and practice of the socialist core values among the college students.Helping poor students is not only an essential part of higher education,but also the carrier of ideological and political education to poverty-stricken students in colleges as well.Therefore,it is of great significance to strengthen the education of the socialist core values to them.This paper starts from the study of the socialist core values and the related theories of subsidizing poor college students in academic circles,which based on the excellent traditional culture.With the questionnaire and mathematical statistics about the values of poor college students in Suqian area,this paper analyzes these values,and points out the objective factors which influence them.What's more,it finds the way to explore and study the cultivation of socialist core values to poor college students by combining the reality of supporting poor university students.This article is divided into six parts:the first part is the introduction.This part introduces the research background and its significance,the related study of literature review at home and abroad,and the content,the methods,the innovation,the deficiency of the research.definitions of "poor students","values" and "socialist core values" and other related concepts.The second part is the importance of cultivating the socialist core values of poor Colleges students.The third part is a summary of the current situation about the poor students' values according to the questionnaire.The fourth part is the analysis about the causes of the problems of the values to college impoverished-students.The fifth part is about finding a way of cultivating socialist core values to poor college students.The core of paper is to combine the ideological cognition with behavior,which is aimed at cultivating socialist core values to poor college students.The purpose is to make poor students grow healthily and develop in an all-round way by cultivating their socialist core values and guiding them to form correct value orientation,value belief and value ideal.In addition,it can help them to form and strengthen national consciousness,self-reliance,gratitude,integrity and democracy and other modern ideas.
