National medium and long-term plan for education reform and development(2010-2020)pointed out that the vocational education must be vigorously developed.The development of vocational education is the key for economic development,employment,people's livelihood,the "agriculture,rural areas and farmers",which is also the way of the contradictions of labor supply and structure,must be setted on the first position.Peoples' requirement of vocational education is the needs of everyone,to the needs of society,to cultivate the students' professional ethics,professional skills and employment ability."For the purpose of service,employment oriented" is the specific requirements of secondary vocational education remind.Career planning to Vocational School students is a way for the students to formulate a goal make a plan combined with the needs of social and economic development.When they make the plan,they will pay more motivated and active on their studies,and they will develop their own professional outlook through career planning activities.As the first step of career planning is to self-knowledge,and form a good identity,then to determine a goal for life.This study is to investigate the student's identity and the status of career planning,through observation and interviews to find out how identity influence on career planning,then put forward suggestions for the improvement of students' career planning.In this study,on the studying of the others' research,combing the related theory and concepts,used Questionnaire survey Interviewing,Literature method an some other research methods,select six classes,a total of 194 students from S city A school making investigation to this part of schoolmate's identity and the status of the career planning.Then make a interview to some students,and put an eye on them in everyday education.The results showed that the students' self-identification status was moderate;The students' career planning situation is not very encouraging.The status of self-identity has positive guiding implications for career planning.Through the analysis of the reasons,combinate with the actual situation gives some strategies for improving identity and career planning.
