Concept is the basic unit of organizating and building the knowledge system. Therefore,teaching concept is the foundation of the whole knowledge teaching system. However a lot of the teaching practice shows that the current situation of concept teaching is not optimistic. One of the important reasons is that teachers ignore the preconcept of students which has been in the mind before the learning activities,and instill the scientific concept of into students' mind roughly,making students failed to form concept transformation process from the preconcept to the real scientific concept.Concept transformation process model is put forward by Posner and so on in 1982, and considerthat the individual to achieve concept transformation must meet four conditions:dissatisfaction with the original concept;understandability, rationality and effectiveness of the new concept. And physics is a science based on experiment, the bringing forward of all physical conception and the discovery of the laws of physics cannot leave the physical experiment exploration. So physical experiment plays a vital role in the history of physics. Based on teaching function related with conceptual change of experiments, this study attempts to organic combination of both, builds and develops " the mode of teaching by using experiments to promote physical concept transformation".Aroundthe building of " the mode of teaching by using experiments to promote physical concept transformation", the study was carried out by the following three aspects:First, collectand card the relevant data of experiment and conceptual change teaching,and using the FCI as a reference, compile a questionnaire to explore the students' preconceptions.Second, based on the model of concept transformation process, by means of experiment,seeing the students' preconcept as the starting point of teaching, in order to realize the concept change as the goal, combined with teaching practice in China,build and develop of a new way of concept teaching - the mode of teaching by using experiments to promote physical concept transformation.Third, combining the the physics education ,as PEP physics textbooks for the teaching material, using " the mode of teaching by using experiments to promote physical concept transformation ", design and implement the relevant teaching cases, and has carried on the investigation and analysis to the teaching effect of practice.The following two conclusions can be obtained from the case study: first, the students'understanding of the former concept is similar; second, the experiment has effect on the former concept of students.On the one hand, the feasibility and effectiveness are proved through the the case study, on the other hand, we also accumulated the experience from practice.
