On the basis of four aspects:the knowledge system of Chemistry, the existing research results, the curriculum standard and the teaching material arrangement, the author analyzes the four important sub-concepts of the core concept "chemical equilibrium",which are the reversible reaction, the chemical equilibrium state, chemical equilibrium movement and chemical equilibrium constant.Based on the Structure of the Observed Learning Outcome(SOLO),four important concepts are constructed, the level of "chemical equilibrium" is divided into four levels, and the learning progression hypothesis of "chemical equilibrium" is constructed.Based on the constructed "chemical equilibrium" learning progression hypothesis, the "chemical equilibrium" learning progressions test volume was drawn up and tested. The test results were analyzed by Wisteps3.72.3 software of Rasch model, and the test volumes were corrected according to the analysis results. The revised test volumes had good reliability index for the empirical study of "chemical equilibrium" learning progression.Using self-made "chemical equilibrium" learning progressions test volumes to conduct the verification of learning progression.Three ordinary high schools were selected as sample schools of Shuozhou,Jinzhong and Yuncheng. The sample students come from parallel class of sample schools. The test data were qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed by Wisteps3.72.3 software and SPSS 19.0 respectively.First of all,we use Wisteps3.72.3 software for reliability, differentiation and other overall statistical analysis of large samples. In the case of the test tool has good performance indicators and Rasch model can fit well,we would make a detailed analysis of the students' "chemical equilibrium" learning level.Based on the Rasch model analysis, the advanced hypothesis of "chemical equilibrium" learning was revised."Chemical equilibrium" learning progressions level analysis are mainly for the following three aspects:? "Chemical equilibrium" learning level analysis of the same grade students;? "Chemical equilibrium" learning progressions level analysis of different grades students;?"Chemical equilibrium" learning progressions level analysis of different educational background students. The analysis found that students of the same grade had different levels of understanding of "chemical equilibrium",with fewer students at learning progressions level 1 and leve 4,and most students stayed at learning progressions level 2 and level 3.Students of grade two and grade three,in the different levels"chemical balance" learning progressions level,Students of grade two at learning progressions level 2,and Students of grade three at learning progressions level 3.Students in different regions have the same level of understanding of "chemical balance".There are some differences in the understanding of "chemical equilibrium"among the students in grade two in different regions, which shows that different educational support has important influence on the students' "chemical equilibrium"learning. Finally, combining with the research results, some research enlightenment and teaching suggestions are put forward, and some problems of this study and the problems to be further studied are analyzed so as to provide some reference for the follow-up study of advanced researchers and the teaching of front-line teachers.
