Historical nihilism,born from the western culture,runs through the modern history of China and gradually being exploited by western developed countries to implement the peaceful evolution towards capitalism to us.It returns to the stage and appears even more strong than before.It randomly makes up our history for its own benefit,violating the principle of seeking truth from the facts.Historical nihilism,through overthrowing the Four Cardinal Principles from various aspects,is detrimental to our growing physical and mental health,and ruinous to the social ideology of our country.Historical nihilism has the features of concealing from our sight and confusing us.Considering the complex social environment surrounding us,insufficient education from class,and our sensibility when absorbing information,historical nihilism is deluding us through internet,informal literature and other literary forms,thus weakening our cultural confidence and forming the wrong cognition of our history and vacillating our belief in Marxism.In this regard,universities should pay more attention to their student party members and strengthen the party building in universities to consolidate the combat fortress of history nihilism.To cut off the main route of transmission of historical nihilism,the online management and control measures should be taken.To prevent historical nihilism infiltrating into universities,academic research must be regulated.Universities also should strengthen the main channel function of ideological and theoretical course.Self-education is helpful to guard against historical nihilism by improving the rational consciousness of college students.
