Research On The Behavior Regulation Of Journalists Under The Modern News Field

Under the circumstance of social transformation, from structure transformation to mechanism transformation to profit adjustment to concept change to culture transition, these all provide new opportunities to the transition of China’s media system. Chinese characteristic dual media macro management system triggers the competition between political elements and economic elements.Evolution of media technology innovation has changed the traditional pattern of media ecology. Faced with competition and challenges, the traditional closed news production patterns have to be adjusted. In addition, new media technologies provide a convenient and effective interaction platform for people to express themselves openly.French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu who proposed the field theory first in <Sur la television>.He thinks there are many social field which like "force field" of physics.They are constituted by a variety of internal and external forces with independent and penetrative.The structural transformation of Chinese society bring changes of news filed. The multi-identities of journalists does not only serve as the traditional propagandist and supervisor, but also act as more important economist and manager. Different self-cognition of journalist has an influence on their understanding upon social function of news media. News journalist’s comprehensive and object comprehension on their identities will ensure news activities well-organized. It is undeniable that, vague and wrong cognition of news journalist causes a mess in modern news production, at the back of which is power competitions in the news circle. News production is influenced by different powers, such as politics, economy specialty and so on. Multi-layered power subjects enter the news circle,maintain traditions and bring changes of news agent social identities, govern news production and thus affect specific activities of them.Beginning with the perspective of journalist multi-identities and based on the Field Theory, this paper studies the traditions and changes of news agent identities in the transition period, analyzes the root of mess in news activities and the competition process of complex powers, and finally aims to build a benignant system which is suitable for news agent’s multi-identities.
