The continuous development of science and technology,Let us enter the era of large data,Accompanied by the rapid development of communication technology.The use of fiber optic cables is becoming more common,The greater the coverage of the cable,the harder the maintenance of the cable,The current manual maintenance means cannot meet the development needs.Urgent need for a new means of maintenance to solve the current network line problems.OTDR is the basic tool for measuring the distance of optical cable accurately,The GIS map has a powerful visual advantage.This paper uses manual OTDR and GIS Technology,Data acquisition,management,analysis and display of the system are realized,And the optical fiber communication line protection involves a variety of data can timely call inquiries,Large amount of data acquisition and accurate data are the basis of this system,The timely updating of the data system ensures the effectiveness of the system.Realize the basic functions of the system accurate measurement by OTDR,accurate breakpoint information is displayed through the GIS map.The establishment of this system is more intelligent for the staff in the management of optical cable information,and more timely in dealing with optical fiber failure.
