| Dasheng bai fa ming men lun kaizong yiji(大乘百法明门论开宗义记)was composed by Tankuang(昙旷)in Tang dynasty in eighth Century. It’s a note of Shastra on the Door to Understanding the Hundred Dharmas.Although the note mainly explain Dharmas which are grouped into five categories, the content is very rich. The note is important to the study of the Tang Dynasty Dunhuang Dharmalaksana. It can not be seen in all the Buddhist sutras,so the book is only saved in Dunhuangyishu and Turpan documents. When the Dunhuangyishu discovered,it was included in the Taisho-pitaka.But as the faults of the original text and the recorded text,it go against the original meaning of sentence and inconvenient to use. There are many high-quality manuscripts of the note in Dunhuangyishu. So it can be used to collate and arrange the text. The paper mainly includes two parts which are text collation and research. The part of text collation is about writing descriptive catalog of all the manuscripts, splicing the fragments of the documents and collating the text.In the research part I demonstrated that Tankuang has the tendency to compromise dharmatva and dharma character by analyzing his classification of Mahayana, explanation of alaya consciousness and pretending set up of the inaction Dharma. |
