| Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) has been widely used in military and civil life due to its advanced radar imaging technology. In military application, ,it can be used to map the interesting area and update it,so to provide the important source data for military geographical information system. Furthermore, because of its penetration ability, SAR can distinguish mock-up and detect the real target through the camouflaged cover even in fog. In civil application,SAR can also provide reliable information about the GIS,crop surveillance,ocean and glacier status,land resource,disaster area,and etc. The SAR mission system has the only CPU took on the task of the central computer. It accepts the instruction and accordingly handles the different operates,such as different timing generation,parameter distribution,mode switching,auto gain control,antenna direction,and etc.The thesis is based on the certain SAR project. It introduces the background and application value and describes the developing process at first. Then it briefly talked about the principle of the SAR mission system, depicts the embedded computer structure and its function. In the function and hardware design, the thesis discusses it essentially. At last, the software processing architecture is briefly introduced.In this research,SAR mission system consults the software radio conception,adopts the PC 104 and FPGA to form the embedded computer architecture. The PC 104 build-in with the Pentium CPU can handle the real time data from other gather system,and control the executive part in time. FPGA embeds the firmware for communication,dynamic timing control, device status gather, so it has ISP, program reform, and migration, high integrate ability, reliability and expansibility in it. |
