Under the new media environment,the influence of media continues to expand,and the importance of media image becomes more and more prominent.It has become an important way for individuals to recognize the objective world.Characteristic small town,non Town,non District,is characterized by industrial development,construction of the core of multi-functional innovation space,its inspiration from the distinctive features of foreign towns.Since 2014,China has gradually started the upsurge of creating characteristic towns.The town’s characteristics the media image is the image of the present town media,reproduction of the real image selective and processed image showing some characteristics of town image media,based on the feature of the town’s media image as the breakthrough point,mainly focus on the status quo,characteristics of town of media image construction and communication strategy,new media under the environment of the town features showing how the media image?What construction strategies are hidden behind it?How is media image produced and transmitted?These are the problems that this article attempts to explore.This paper will summarize the characteristics of the town into four types,respectively is the red culture town,industrial town,ecological health town and historical folk Town,and image features,the characteristics of small town construction to sort out the strategy,to explore the cultural logic behind the process of using space;town area,construction,production,landscape,culture and space study on the characteristics of visual symbol theory;using Body sub simulacra theory,from imitation,production and simulation and simulacra production process in four stages of analysis of the characteristics of the media image of the town;finally,separately from the main image communication and media organization communication two aspects inquired into the characteristics of the town of media image communication strategy.
