Commercial bank is a special enterprise which takes currency as the management object, the enhancing for the competitiveness of commercial banks is essential to the stability and long-term development of the national economy, but also for the development of commercial banks and their sustainable development is particularly important. The comprehensive opening of China's financial market has created a good competition pattern for the development of commercial banks. And the complex competitive relationships is bound to inevitably leading to a variety of development strategies as well, which has brought a great opportunity for the enhancing competitiveness of the commercial banks; At the same time, the environment of the Three Period Superposition, resource relocation, interest rate reform, and Internet cross-border financial and so on, has brought a great challenge to commercial banks. In the external environment of the coexistence of opportunities and challenges, it is an important subject for all commercial banks that how to obtain development from the perspective of internal management, enhance their own competitiveness through full using the positive competition situation, and get a firm foothold and further development under the impact of the external challenges.The main result of research at home and abroad on the competitiveness of commercial banks mostly have very strong pertinence, its content generally focus on the study of the influence factors of competitiveness, evaluation index, model construction and empirical research on the competitiveness of commercial banks. So the results of those studies almost limit to certain aspects of the bank competitiveness, research object and research background cannot match with the economic situation faced by commercial banks at present, therefore those researches cannot supply a comprehensive reference for China's commercial banks.Under the background of above reality and theory, carry out the further study for the competitiveness of commercial banks has very important significance. Based on the study of previous experience, integrated into the social responsibility theory, this paper constructs a evaluation index system for the competitiveness of commercial bank by the realistic competing ability, potential competitiveness, and social responsibility competitiveness. Taking the 16 listed commercial banks in China as the sample, evaluates and analyses the comprehensive competitiveness of the 16 listed commercial banks by factor analysis. On the basis of that, put forward some countermeasures and suggestions to improve China's listed commercial banks competitiveness from the commercial bank's scale of strength, ability of stable development, management responsibility, innovation driving ability of Its internal management, in order to help our listed commercial bank clearly recognize its position in the industry system and its advantages and disadvantages of their own development to comprehensively improve the competitive strength of enterprises.
