Research On Competition And Complementarity Of Sino_Pakistan Trade

China and Pakistan have generation friendly,they have a close relationship in politics and economic.After entering into the 21 century,economical communication has become closer and closer,economic-issue has become the core issues,the economic and trade cooperation has entered a new stage.At the same time,China proposed “the Belt and Road”strategy in 2013,and develops rapidly.Pakistan is on the strategic node,so the success or failure in Pakistan is related to the success or failure of the whole strategy.so it is important to research the Sino-Pakistan trade.The research and analysis are mainly throuch the Sino-Pakistan trade data from 2000 to 2014.Through the research,compared to the close political relations,economic relations between China and Pakistan is not ideal.There are some questions in Sino-Pakistan trade.We find that there are three questions,the first is Sino_Pakistan trade deficit ballooning in size,the secend is the existing number and structural imbalances in Sino_Pakistan trade,the third is Pakistan's status in China_South Asia trade circle has declined.Based on the above research,in order to further understand the Sino-Pakistan trade,we analyse the competition and complementarity in Sino_Pakistan trade in this essay.From the competitive analysis,we find the competition is very weak,only exist in individual products,forexample,cotton.thereare few competitive products from Pakistan,but,there are many competitive products from China.From the complementary analysis,we find there are strong complementarity in chemicals goods,industrial goods and mechanic equipments.The conclusion elicited from this essay is that there is a greater complementarity than competition in Sino-Pakistan trade,and the trade is imbalance very much.China should actively give more trade preference to Pakistan,strengthen investment to Pakistan,at the same time,China should accelerate development the “the Belt and Road”and“Sino-Pakistan Economic Corridor”,at the same time,China should use the political relations to develop the trade.
