Photovoltaic has become the third largest direction of renewable energy after hydro and wind energy, and it is the future development of energy. Chinese solar power generation has gone through the initial stage, the initial stage and the winter stage. Now it is in the rebound phase, while national policy is constantly positive.Compared with terrestrial photovoltaic power plants, distributed photovoltaic power plants with a small footprint, reduce dependence on the power grid,be smart and flexible, etc. It's considered the main direction of future development of PV.There are many advantages such as economic, environmental, safety and reliability, the able to be improved to solve the electricity in remote areas and so on, in line with the national energy development strategy and new energy development plan.Researching on the financing model of distributed photovoltaic power generation projects to promote in rural areas will not only provide ideas to solve the financing problem, but also to promote the new rural energy construction.Based on existing methods from domestic and foreign scholars and various theories proposed by scholars of the analysis, this paper analyzes the status quo and financing models of distributed PV at home and abroad. In the meantime,it analyzes the rural extension projects of distributed PV, including the financial, the feasibility of investment and financing, national economic evaluation and risk of the project. This paper is divided into four parts. The first part introduces the background and significance, literature review, research methods of the thesis writing. The second part is the theoretical analysis of the financing model of distributed photovoltaic. The third part is the economic feasibility analysis of the rural extension project on distributed PV in example.Part IV concludes and makes recommendations based on empirical results. After the case study of the distributed photovoltaic power generation projects in rural areas to promote concluded that under normal circumstances, the IRR of the project is about 10%, payback period to promote is about 8.4 years. In support of the government direct subsidy policies, the project payback period will be shortened, earning of individual investors will be improved significantlyand the risk of lending financial institutionsmay reduce. And if the government simultaneously increases direct subsidies, raising the loan rate, then the first investment of farmers can be negative, meaning that farmers will get the initial perks. This will increase the enthusiasm of farmers to install equipment to solve the problem of financing, while promoting the new rural energy construction of the country.
