As the typical representative of indirect finance medium, commercial banks equip with two major basic functions of liquidity creation and risk transfer. The banking crisis that occurs repeatedly in the international society has made the relationship between liquidity and banking capital structure become the focusing point of theoretical attention. However, domestic scholars focus on the problems of banking risk transfer function and liquidity more at present, but pay less attention on banking liquidity creation measuring methods and its relevance to capital structure,Therefore,This paper combines the reality of our country, modifies the liquidity creation measuring method proposed by foreign scholars, profoundly discusses the relations between our domestic commercial banking liquidity creation and capital structure, and proposes the corresponding political advice accordingly. The contents of the research in this paper mainly include:firstly,it teases the liquidity creation theory and the theory of its relations with capital funds,as well as related theories of measuring method.Besides,on the basis of the liquidity division of on-balance and off-balance sheet businesses of commercial banks,it applies the modified "cat-fat" index system to measures the liquidity creation volume of different types of commercial banks, studies its variation trend and conducts the comparison analysis.Empirical results demonstrate that firstly,in total analysis, the performance of the liquidity creation abilities of different types of commercial banks is different;secondly, different types of commercial banks have different off-balance liquidity creation abilities, the off-balance liquidity creative power of holding commercial banks are the best.It the next,it conducts empirical analysis on the relationship between commercial banking liquidity creation and capital structure.Based on the microscopic data of our domestic 5 state-owned holding banks,12 sharing banks,68 urban commercial banks during the period from 2005 to 2014,it adopts GMM dynamic panel model to demonstrate the effects of different types of commercial banking capital structure on liquidity creation. In research,it is discovered that 1.Liquidity creation index can be regarded as the medium target of associating micro assets allocation of commercial banks and macro economy liquidity.2.Different types of commercial banking capital structure has different influential degrees to liquidity creation. For state-owned holding banks and holding banks, capital structure has no obvious effects on liquidity creation volumes;for urban commercial banks, its capital structure shows the negative relations to liquidity creation, the more abundant the funds are,the smaller the liquidity creative forces will be.In the end, based on the research conclusions in the previous paper, this paper proposes the political advice on commercial banking differentiated capital supervision, etc. The research of this paper is aimed at providing the experiences and data for supervisory authority and the capital and liquidity management of commercial banks themselves, equipped with important reference values for improving related political measures and defending the financial system crisis.
