Research On The Effect Of The Gem Listed Company Net Profit For Market Value

The GEM listed companies has different characteristics with motherboard companies for small,strong profitability,growth speed.The characteristics of the gem listed companies come to the attention of many investors.Very little GEM company dividends,almost round not share out bonus all the year.Investors return on investment mainly comes from capital gains and is also comes from a growing of market value.The factors impacting market value has been studies by many scholars.The factors include flows of business,enterprise scale,earnings growth and capital structure,the index of growth,ownership concentration and operation efficiency and management equity and the proportion of independent director,etc.This paper choose the gem listed companies as research samples,with a market value as the dependent variable,the net profit for the independent variable,revenue growth,total assets turnover ratio,total assets and equity multiplier,the top 10 shareholders holdings,operating activities net cash flows and institutional investor shareholding as a control variable for empirical research,study the influence of the gem listed company net profit for market value.The research results show that under 0.01 significant levels,the gem listed company net profit has great influence to the market value,there is significant positive correlation between net profit and market value.
