Increase Statistical Reliability Without Losing Predictive Power By Merging Classes And Adding Variables

With a categorical data set, an approach by merging explanatory categories and adding explanatory variables is proposed to lift association of a response vari-able with given explanatory variables without losing information statistical relia-bility. A couple of supportive experiments are presented.
