Research On Chen Yun’s Economic Thought

Since the founding of New China,under the strong leadership and active exploration of the CPC Central Committee,from the establishment of the basic socialist economic system to the comprehensive reform and opening up,China’s socialist economic construction had achieved remarkable achievements.As an economic worker of the first generation and the second generation of the CPC central leadership,Chen Yun always insisted on combining the basic principles of Marxism with the concrete reality of China in the process of leading China’s revolution and construction.He put forward many economic thoughts adapting to China’s national conditions and successfully guided the healthy development of China’s national economy.Therefore,to intensively study Chen Yun’s economic thoughts is not only the inherent need of studying the economic guiding theory of the Party,but also the realistic need of guiding China’ s socialist economic construction.The main body of this paper consists of three chapters.The first chapter mainly discusses the source of theory and forming process of the economic theory of Chen Yun.The second chapter mainly summarizes and concludes the main contents and the distinctive features of economic thoughts of Chen Yun,which is the core of this article.The main contents include his exploration of China’s agricultural problems,the comprehensive balance of the national economy,planning and market,opening of economy,development of science and technology,and population and environment.The distinct characteristics are intimacy to people of people first,practicality of realism dialectics,wholeness of overall planning and all-round consideration and innovativeness of dare for more,and it tries to reveal economic ideological system of Chen Yun comprehensively and in multiple-views.The third chapter regards the contemporary value of economic thoughts of Chen Yun as foothold,discusses from each aspect of theoretical value and practical value of economic thoughts of Chen Yun and illuminates the practical significance of his economic thoughts to the current socialist modernization construction.At present,the reform in the socialist economic system of China has entered the critical stage.The in-depth research into the key points of Chen Yun’s economic thoughts should be made to gain some valuable enlightenment,better solve new problems in the economic development of China as well as promote the healthy and sustainale development of national economy,which is still of significant theoretical value and practical meaning.
