From the 1970s onwards, the skills wage gap in the world have a clear upward trend. In the 21st century, the global value chain tade, which is a typical characteristic of international product division of labor, has become a new feature of international trade and has become an important way for countries around the world to participate in international division of labor.Since the classic literature of Feenstra&Hanson(1996)confirms that the division of labor in the form of an internal division of labor has widened the Wage Gap between Skills, the participation of international division of labor in the influence of a country's Wage Gap between Skills has become a consensus in the field of international trade and income distribution.Since the implementation of reform and opening up in 1978,China's provinces have been expanding their areas of opening up to the outside world. However, due to differences in factors such as factor endowment, economic development and open policy, the differences in the form and location of participation in international division of labor are also large and the effects on the wage gap are not the same.Based on the elementry theory how a country participates in the global value chain affects its Wage Gap Between Skills by means of technological progress mechanisms by Costinot,Vogel&Wang(2013),this paper develop it to analyze the Influence on Wage Gap Between Skills and its transmission mechanism of various areas of a country participating Global Value Chain. Then, based on the analysis of Su Qingyi(2016),this paper constructs the decomposition framework of the total export of China's provinces by combining the value-added trade statistics method and the multi-regional input-output method, and uses the provincial output table and the world input-output table The origin and structure of the provincial export value added,on the basis of the construction of the measurement of China's provinces to participate in the global value chain indicators:domestic vertical professional and international vertical specialization. Then, this paper examines the impact of the participation of Chinese provinces in the Global Value Chain on their Wage Gap between Skills. It is found that the international vertical specialization will narrow down among the low-skilled and middle-and high-skilled labor Wage gap between the high-skilled labor;further, the 30 provinces of China will be divided into Beijing and Tianjin and the northern coastal areas, the southeast coastal areas, the central region, the northeastern region As well as the western region of the five regions to study, from the sub-regional situation, the international vertical specialization will narrow the wage gap between all high-skilled workers, and domestic vertical specialization will expand the southeast coastal areas, the central region,The wage gap between the high and skilled labor in the western region, and narrow the wage gap between the high and middle peasants in the northeastern region. Finally, this paper presents how to deepen the international division of labor while easing the regional wage gap.
