Research On Theory And Practice Of Risk Management Based On Property Insurance Underwriting Risk

China's insurance market is developing rapidly,but underwriting risk management is absent from its duties of market parties.Underwriting risk management can improve the profitability of property insurance companies,enhance the core competitiveness of insurance companies,and give full play to help the social management function of commercial insurance.This article first reviewed the risk management theory and development of risk management in the property insurance industry,which provides a theoretical basis for the research.Then points out that huge gap exists in the underwriting risk management area between our insurance companies and the leading international ones.Then states the function,content and difficulties of underwriting risk management in China,also pointed out that the underwriting risk management can reduce potential risks,lead to the promotion of property insurance industry and upgrade the role of property insurance company.Property Insurance Company underwriting risk management should be divided into internal and external aspects,internal aspect is to establish comprehensive underwriting risk management system,external aspect is to provide risk management services.Then combined with China's property insurance market conditions and the actual case,by summarizing the practice experience,formed a set of applicable underwriting risk management and service system.Finally,this article provides some suggestions to improve the level of underwriting risk management of China's property insurance company,including lower the KPI level of premium,giving more priority to underwriting risk management;at the strategic level,increase investment of the underwriting risk management and strengthening the personnel training,establish own expert database as soon as possible.
